Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how InSpy ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our mobile application. We built InSpy to be privacy-first: we do not require an account and we do not collect your name, email address, or password.

Information we process

• Instagram usernames you enter. When you request an analysis, the username you type is sent to our backend solely to retrieve publicly available profile information (such as public post thumbnails, follower/following counts, and bio). We do not access private accounts or any content that is not publicly visible.
• Anonymous identifier. The app creates an anonymous device identifier to keep your in-app state (such as premium status and coin balance) working. It is not linked to your real identity.
• Purchase information. Subscriptions and coin purchases are processed by Apple and validated through RevenueCat. We receive the status of a purchase (e.g., active/expired), not your payment details.
• Basic diagnostics. Limited technical data may be processed to keep the service reliable.

What we do NOT collect

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or Instagram password. We never ask for your Instagram login.

Third-party services

• Apple — in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management.
• Google Firebase — anonymous authentication and cloud state sync.
• Our backend (api.inspy.store) — retrieves public Instagram profile data on your behalf.

Tracking & advertising

InSpy does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Data retention

In-app state is stored on your device and, for continuity, in our cloud storage tied to your anonymous identifier. You can request deletion at any time from the app's Settings ("Delete Account") or by contacting us.

Children

InSpy is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Not affiliated with Instagram

InSpy is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Analytics provided are estimates based on publicly available data.
